The lecture introduces multi-scalar mapping as a method for investigating corridors as relational, socio-material and more-than-human assemblages.
Building on perspectives from posthuman urbanism, political ecology and critical cartography, it explores how shifting between scales, from bodies and habitats to landscapes and territories, reveals different forms of cohabitation. Drawing
on examples from Mapping the Post-Human City (Ahlert & Skowronnek 2021) as part of the exhibition Cohabitation: A Manifesto for the Solidarity of Non-Humans and Humans in Urban Space, the lecture presents multi-scalar cohabitation mapping as an approach to visualising the relationships between human and non-human actors across scales.
