As part of its activities, M-US-T, the master's degree program on Temporary Uses of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies Politecnico di Milano, organizes a seminar open to the public in collaboration with CRAFT, the Competence Center for Antifragile Territories.
How do we build adaptable projects over time? Does permanence really matter? And what are the new professions today in the field of designing, managing and animating temporary uses?
We will discuss this from lectures - in-person and online - by important protagonists of the international debate such as Alejandro Aravena and Raul Mehrotra, prompted by questions from master's students Alessandro Cappilli, Maria Sara Cirifino, Nathalia Espitia lozano, Jitka Tomsova, Eilon Weintroub, Zengzhen Wu, Gabriele Zanello.
Then, we will continue with a panel discussion with experts, policy makers, public administrators and investors and the third sector, Valeria Fedeli, Ippolito Pestellini, Davide Ponzini, Giancarlo Tancredi, Giordana Ferri, Valentina Zaro, Andrea Vecci; Simone Smargiassi, Giulia Cantaluppi; Pietro Bailo; Emma McElroy. The seminar is organized and introduced by Antonella Bruzzese e Isabella Inti.
