CRAFT is the organizer of the workshop “Introducing CRAFT Competence CenteR AntiFragile Territories” which will take place on April 11th at 12:00 pm, in the fair area of the NEB Festival 2024.
The workshop aims to present the CRAFT project - Anti-Fragile Territories Competence Center.
CRAFT is the spin off of the "Territorial Fragility" project of the DAStU Department of Excellence. The Center has been operating since 2023 as a permanent point of reference for the academic world, applied research, institutions, and other actors involved in the construction of "anti-fragile territorial systems". CRAFT is based on a transdisciplinary, design-oriented, place-based and socially impactful research approach.
The workshop focuses on the ongoing pilot projects and research initiatives of the “Territorial Fragility” program (2018-2027). Through the presence of the main stakeholders, we will stimulate an open public debate on the issues of place-based development.
The event program includes the following talks:
Competences and research for antifragile territories, Valeria Fedeli, CRAFT’s scientific coordinator
MetroHUB Centre on Metropolitan Dynamics, Alessandra Pandolfi , research fellow @Milano MetroHub
Off Campus: engaged research and codesign communities in fragile contexts, Alice Ranzini e Gianfranco Orsenigo, research fellows @ DAStU Politecnico di Milano
A moment of discussion with the public will follow.
Ilaria Tosoni, project manager of the center, moderates the meeting.
